You'll find us on the Causeway Coast, Northern Ireland on Quay Road in Ballycastle. We're approximately 1 hours driving from Belfast, 1 1/2 hours from Derry/Londonderry and 3 hours from Dublin.

Southhill House contains 2 three-bedroom apartments, each sleeping 6 (5 king bedrooms - with options for singles and 1 bunk bedroom).

The Manse is a six-bedroom Victorian House sleeping 12 (5 king bedrooms- with options for singles and 1 bunk bedroom). Fairhead Suite is accessed from the back garden of The Manse and sleeps 2, which can also be accessed through the main house and added on as additional space.

Sea views, understated luxury, comfy pillows, and hand-picked accessories add to the warm, cosy atmosphere in all spaces in which you can stay, play and connect.

The spa area at the Manse is the ultimate in luxury. During your stay you will have unlimited and exclusive use of our hot tub, 6 person sauna and our Garden Retreat.

Our 7-person hot tub is covered overhead and heated to a 'just perfect' 37 degrees. The area is open sided and affords you the ultimate way to enjoy the fresh air and lush views across the treetops to the sea.

For those who would like to indulge in a relaxing massage or facial during their stay, this can be arranged. More information can be provided at time of booking on request.

Yes, you can book a Holiday for a maximum of 4 weeks. During this time, we will arrange fresh towels and cleaning of the property/spa.

The accommodation will be listed on a per stay basis not per person. The booking will secure the entire place. We will be offering Monday-Thursday stays at a reduced rate.

Basalt Breaks offers self-catering accommodation. We will be offering a local cafe breakfast package as an option when booking, available for sit in or takeaway.

We've got you covered for food during your stay with Basalt Breaks. As well as the breakfast package we will also be offering options for lunch, dinner, and tasty treats! We've been working hard to bring together the best of local produce and all will be made available to you as 'extras' at time of booking. We can provide a travel cot and highchair upon request. Basalt Breaks is the ideal family holiday solution. We have agreements with carefully selected activity providers, and we would be delighted to provide suggestions of things to do on your holiday in the local area.

Fluffy towels are provided in the bedrooms. BASALT Six towel robes will be provided for sauntering between the Hot tub, sauna, and our Garden Retreat.

Sorry, all bookings are a minimum 3 night stay.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at any of our properties.
